- Shannen Doherty's contract apparently stipulated that she would get the
biggest paycheck.
- She felt creatively unsatisfied with what Charmed offered.

Why has Constance M. Burge left Charmed? |
|
During hiatus between seasons 2 and 3, producers discussed possible storylines for season three. Executive Producer Brad Kern wanted to bring in a season long love interest for the Phoebe character who started out bad but becomes good. Fellow Executive Producer and show creator Constance M. Burge was against the idea as the character Piper already had a convoluted season long relationship storyline and she wanted to focus back to the sisterly dynamic of the show. After realizing that she wasn't going to win the debate, Burge left the series and full production reigns fell to Kern.

In the US child labour laws state that babies playing a character on TV, must be twins or even better, two sets of twins or triplets. It is forbidden for an infant, who is not part of twins to play a baby on TV.
Baby Chris is played by twins, actually there are several sets.
Holly has said that she brings Finley along to the set, but he has never nor will not play in Charmed. |
