| Summary: |
Billie is scrying for her sister up in the attic when Paige walks
in. Elsewhere a demon is in a shop and magically frees a man from a photo
collage with 12 others. The demon tells the man, J.D., that he’s no longer of
use to him. The demon attacks J.D. who manages to knock him out temporarily with
a military-type “blood pinch,” then J.D. runs into the street. He’s hit by a car
and the demon tells the people to call 911. At the Manor, Piper and Leo are still fighting, and Paige is reapplying at Social Services. Phoebe is looking at adoption after her breakup with Dex. Paige suggests they see a marriage counselor again and after Leo leaves, Sam, Paige’s father, orbs in. The demon, Vaklav, is passing himself off at the hospital and checking up on J.D, while Sam reveals that J.D. is his charge and disappeared in 1955 and hasn’t aged since then. Sam wants Paige to help him out and she calls Phoebe, who is busy filling out a form to set herself up with a sperm donor. Piper is similarly unhappy since Leo’s dragging her to a Soothsayer to help with their marriage problems. They track down the guy, a gardener, while Paige brings in Agent Murphy. They spot J.D. being taken out by Vaklav and Murphy goes after him, dodging a fireball. Vaklav is immune to gunfire and teleports out, stopping him from getting away with J.D. Paige and Sam bring J.D. to the manor and Paige sets up a crystal barrier and checks for more info. Piper is less than impressed with the Soothsayer’s apparent ramblings and gets called away when Paige acts them to deal with Billie. As they leave, the Soothsayer casts a spell and when they get n the car, Leo and Piper realize they’ve switched bodies. Phoebe isn’t happy with the sperm donors and is trying to find someone who can provide a child who matches her visions. The clinic counselor advises she needs to build a family with love and Phoebe considers her words. J.D. wakes up and recognizes Sam, who heals him. J.D. relays he disappeared while at a drive-in when someone took his picture, and he doesn’t remember anything since. Piper and Leo get back to the manor and Sam has Billie take care of J.D. without letting him know magic is involved. Billie is more then willing to take him on once she sees how attractive he is. Sam checks in with Paige and Murphy and they figure out the photography angle and take off, unaware Vaklav is following them. J.D. is astonished by the new and improved TVs, and soon realizes something is amiss and takes off. Paige and the others get together with the now elderly man whose daughter mysteriously disappeared in a flash of light. The man mentions a photo studio and the fact that the photographer disappeared. The photo studio was near where J.D. was hit by the car, and Paige and Sam tell Murphy to let them check it out. Billie is introducing an astonished J.D. to modern-day San Francisco and he finally figures out he’s in the year 2005 and runs off to find his father. Leo is trying to find a way to reverse the spell when Phoebe bursts in with her issues, and they realize Billie has left with J.D. J.D. discovers his dad died recently and Billie tries to console him by relating her issues with her missing sister. Paige and Sam get to the photo studio when Sam gets a mystic vibration of suffering and innocence and conclude Vaklav is collecting future Whitelighters, and he believes Paige is vulnerable since she hasn’t embraced her inheritance. Paige isn’t thrilled with his advice and stalks off, and Vaklav confronts Sam and captures him with his camera, imprisoning him with the others on the photo sheet. Piper and Leo are fighting over the scrying to find Billie until Phoebe points out how they’ve forgotten how great they are together. Once they resolve their issues they switch bodies back to normal while Billie shows up with J.D. They let Paige know what’s going on, and she heads back to the photo studio and meets Vaklav. She demands to know where Sam is and in return he offers to return Sam in return for J.D. Paige updates the others and J.D. insists on going after Vaklav to deal with it, since everyone he knows is gone. When Billie gets in the way he apologizes then applies the choke hold on her to knock her out. J.D. goes to the photo studio and Vaklav reveals he doesn’t need him, then incinerates him. Billie is feeling guilty and Phoebe counsels her with the fact they can’t protect every innocent. Piper and Leo suggest to Paige that she summon her father using her powers, which she tries and succeeds. She also summons the other prisoners in the collage, and Vaklav shows up and attacks them. Piper bounces his fireball back at him and Paige takes his picture, trapping him on the photo sheet. Later atop the Golden Gate Bridge, Paige has a heart-to-heart with her father, who promises she’ll see him around. Billie lays a flower at J.D.’s grave. |
