| Summary: |
Piper is preparing to head out to try something new – an
interview with a corporate headhunter. Elsewhere an inspector confronts Maya, a
wanted murderer. She takes him out and flees. An explosion rocks the manor as one of Billie’s training exercises goes amiss. Paige lectures her on personal gain and all but she’s eager to get to demon hunting. Paige commiserates with Phoebe at the paper but the latter is busy getting together with Dex. He invites her to an art show of his work and she gets a vision of an earthquake with Dex in it. Meanwhile Piper is interviewing as Piper’s “cousin” and gets hired, and takes a picture of her for a background check. After she leaves the employer e-mails it to a security firm which turns up a picture match…with a criminal, Maya Holmes. Meanwhile Leo is busy juggling the kids as they take care of all their kids together, including Eve, who starts flirting with him. The Halliwells meet for lunch while the police close in on Maya. They’re interrupted when the police take her into custody. At jail, Paige and Phoebe try to console Piper without much success. They try to figure out how she might have settled on Maya’s appearance and she decides to stay in jail despite the fact they might be able to orb her out. In a cell, Piper ends up with a violent prisoner, Joan. At home Eve is still hitting on Leo when Paige breaks in to bring Leo up to speed, then finds the picture of Maya in a magazine. Paige prepares a potion and Billie wants to help, and they complete the scrying. Piper is brought to visit the prosecutor, Walter Nance, who knows her by (Maya’s) name, and warns her there was no escape. Piper tries to bluff her way through as the guy reveals she took off with a photographer, who got killed and he’s responsible. Piper bluffs that they’ll see what happens at the trial, but he warns that it won’t go to court. Meanwhile, Phoebe is busy trying to get the newspaper to run an article warning about earthquakes while one of the research folks comes up with info on Maya, a model who apparently shot her boyfriend, a photographer. Billie and Paige find the real Maya at a hotel while Piper uses her power to fend off Joan, only to be orbed out and replaced with the real Maya. Piper believes Maya is innocent while Nance is working to get Maya released so he can deal with her. Piper plans to go in while Phoebe and Paige head out, but Eve’s husband Carl shows up and is ready to punch out Leo for hitting on his wife. Piper freezes him and has a discussion with Leo, then Leo has to get back into position to take the punch. Dex doesn’t want to cancel or postpone his show but when a tremor hits the place he agrees to move the stuff. Piper, Paige, and Billie check on Maya to find she’s been released into Nance’s custody. They track him down as Nance tosses him off a building as a fake suicide. Piper freezes her long enough for Paige to orb in a mattress to break her fall then take her back to the manor. She reveals that Nance is obsessed with old age and then Billie comes up with an idea – use the Demon of Fear as inspiration to confront Nance with his deepest fear. Billie gets in to see Nance as his new manicurist and quickly taunts him on his old age. They make it look like his hands are wrinkled and then Billie turns into Maya and sends him flying across the room. He ages further in the mirror and then sees three images of Maya. He runs out onto the balcony where Maya shoves him off and he plummets down where Piper freezes him again, then frees his head and has him confess or she’ll drop him. Piper creates a new identity and everything there’s fine. Phoebe is at Dex’s art show and finds he’s moved everything back where it was. The earthquake happens and the artwork is broken, but Phoebe realizes her vision was to show she was supposed to be there. |

| Trivia: |
Leo: Give me a break, will you? That was all about Eve. PaigeHm, sounds like an old movie. Piper: One I don't care to see again. Meaning: This is indeed a movie - "All About Eve". The event Billie and the sisters refer to about a ghost helping them to make a pawn shop owner confess a crime, is from 2x19 Ex Libris. Paige found Maya's photo in 415 magazine, which is where Prue used to work. |
