The avatar cast a spell which puts everyone to sleep for the time it takes to erase the mind-set of duality, of good and evil and to establish Utopia.
Demons are not affected by this spell.

Summary:

At the same time that the Avatars are planning to transform the world into their envisioned utopia, Zankou convinces Brody to work with him by casting a paranoia spell on the Halliwell sisters. However, when the avatars realise what Brody has done they kill him but lose avatar Beta too. Utopia can not be prevented.
