Nathan and Rick Lange, Brothers who died at Guadalcanal in November 1942. 
Their spirits seek revenge on their friend Leo, the person they feel "left them to die". As their anger grows so does their ability to corporealise (move objects, create cold breezes, etc).

Summary: Going against everything she told Piper in last year's 3x17 Pre-Witched, Phoebe begins to wonder if it is time to move out. Her plans are helped along by Cole's constant sabotage at the manor. Meanwhile, Leo is visited by the ghosts of Rick and Nathan Lange, two friends who died in the same World War Two battle that also claimed him. Unfortunately for Leo the ghosts are out for revenge. This means killing his charges and then going after his wife. While Leo struggles with the guilt brought on by his charge's death, he finds that he has lost his powers. This proves to be an even bigger problem when the ghosts attempt to kill Piper. While Paige and Phoebe work to bring her back, Leo comes to grips with what happened. He regains his powers and is eventually able to save his wife. In the end, Phoebe somehow decides that saving Piper is a sign that she can move out.

The ghosts Rick and Nathan Lang are played by real life brothers Costas and Louis Mandylor.

The letter to Leo is addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wyatt. It also shows the zip code which is CA 94104.

As you can see on the photography of Leo in the memorial hall that he was Corporal.

Phoebe works on an article titled "Van Lewen family estate chosen as treasure house for S. Francisco". Van Lewen was the name of the family in 2x11 Reckless abandon
