 Power
brokers
are demons trading powers. Sometimes they use people to store powers until
they find a buyer so the powers can't be stolen. Human beings possessed of a demonic power will become confused then frightened, paranoid, violent, demonic and will ultimately die if the power isn't withdrawn. The power can be pulled out with a potion or by a power broker. One power-broker is vanquished by Piper, another one by another power broker. Fertilisation ritual: The power of harvest moon combined with a special tonic will make the woman fertile to a demon's seed, and override any preventative measures she's taken. The demon's blood must be included in the potion. The mixture must be taken in the morning, and impregnation must be done when the moon is high in the night's sky. The evil spawn growing inside her will influence her only for lenience so that when she does discover the truth, she will bend to the demon's will. |

| Summary: | The Seer informs Cole that the timing is right for him to get Phoebe pregnant. He attempts to get Piper and Leo out of town by giving them a honeymoon in Hawaii, funded by his new lawyer salary. Unfortunately for him, his plans are interrupted when the girls find an innocent in need of saving. The woman, a newspaper columnist, was given a power by a demonic power broker. Now it is slowly driving her crazy. As Piper and Phoebe race to save her and her job, Paige begins to suspect that Cole has gone to the dark side. Convinced that she will ruin his opportunity with Phoebe, Cole has her infected with a power as well. This allows Piper and Phoebe to dismiss her concerns as mere paranoia induced by her condition. In the end Cole is unable to let Paige die. Leo ends up taking them all to the underworld so that she can be saved. The innocent ends up leaving her job, which is then given to Phoebe. The big question then becomes, is Phoebe now pregnant? | |||
