Trolls are mythical creatures who live adjacent to the Enchanted Kingdom. 
Trolls are evil, very fast and sneaky and will do anything to rule the Enchanted Kingdom.

Some trolls were vanquished by Prue and Piper.

In the Enchanted Kingdom fairies rule over trolls.
Fairies can use magical dust for their purposes which also allows people to see them. Fairies also like shiny things like keys which they sometimes take away.

Fairies, elves and trolls are mystical creatures that live in a realm parallel to ours 
but separated by a thin vell which lives only in tween places. 
That's like a realm in between two things like doorways, windows and shadows.
The biggest in between of all however is Midnight the hour between night and day, 
when the world itself becomes a tween.

In order to save Kate's life, Prue and Phoebe must revert to a time of innocence when they believed in mystical worlds filled with fairies and trolls. Meanwhile, devastated over everything that happened with Leo, Piper stubbornly goes on strike from The Powers That Be.

Prue: Hey, uh, it's me.
Phoebe: It's amazing how much stress you can project with so few words, Prue. I will have your precious car home momentarily.
