A demon, only known as Boss, who used magic to make money. He fell in love with Brookes but since she didn't love him he cursed her to be a wolf and her lover Christopher to be an owl during day respective night. This curse lasts until there is a night which is a day and a day which is a night or till Brooke give herself to him.

He is vanquished when Brooke and Christopher meet in their human form during a solar eclipse and seal her love with a kiss.

It is the eternal joining of two people in love in a sacred ceremony presided over by a High Priestess. It is best performed at a time of sunrise or sunset, when both the sun and the moon are present in the joining of the two lovers.

Summary:

Piper is alluding to the movie, "Ladyhawke", starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Rutger Hauer as cursed lovers. He is a man by day and a wolf by night, while she is a hawk by day and a woman by night so they can never be together as humans.
