They are not evil by nature and won't harm you unless you wish for something.


Free genies don't have powers.
To undo your wishes the genie has to go back into the bottle.  

The genie was freed with a wish by Prue and Phoebe.

Members of the triad are at the highest level of the demonic hierarchy.  
The triad has the power to determine the fate of any demon who has fallen from grace.  
The triad members were vanquished by Cole.

A genie shows up at the Halliwells' doorstep, ready to cause trouble in all of their lives in order to gain his own freedom. The sisters wishes, while accidental, cause major problems. Prue becomes a teenager, Phoebe starts to fly, and Dan begins to age at an accelerated rate. And to make matters worse, Phoebe's new power has come from the powerful Dragon warlock, who will do anything to get it back.
