Collectors are a warlock breed that drains knowledge out of peoples brains with a needle finger. 

Legends hold it buried somewhere near a rocky desert, is a fable book, penned by ancient mystics, known as the Akashic Records. 
Believed to be a written account of all significant events throughout time. 
To know the future brings, obviously, ultimate power. 
To find them, one needs a map. A tablet found in the Ivory Colls is believed to be the very map. The engravings will tell the exact latitude and longitude of the Akashic Records.

Fearing that the men in their lives might be evil, Prue and Piper cast a spell to hear their thoughts. Soon after the sisters realize that they can now read peoples' minds, including each other's. This leads to some amusing exchanges between the two.
Meanwhile, Phoebe enlists their help in aiding Eric Bragg, a man being pursued by two warlocks with needles for fingers.
