Tuatha

1799, a good witch turned evil, and started using her craft against innocents. She was trapped into a cave and entombed. She kills good witches. She can't be vanquish by a witch. 
There's only one person who can defeat her. He's known as the Chosen One. He's a normal person but he is the seventh son of the seventh son and he is born to use Tuatha's wand against her. Law has it that once the witch is free, the wand will find the Chosen One. 

In this episode the Charmed Ones use scrying for the first time which is what witches use to magically find something or someone. 
For scrying you need a map, a piece of string and a crystal.

Tuatha was vanquished by Kyle Gwydien.

The design of the wand is of inlaid garnets with pewter and ebony that is distinctly eighteenth century European. The facet cut amber headpiece surrounded by the symbolic snakes suggested that it had once been used as a ornamental staff or a ritual wand.

Leo returns to lead the sisters to the Chosen One, Kyle Gwydien, a young boy destined to kill an evil witch who has recently reappeared. Meanwhile, Piper must choose between continuing a relationship with Leo or starting anew with Dan.

Phoebe: Okay, this is the potion to induce sleep, this one is to repel an evil threat and that one puts out a fire.
Prue: What kind of potion does that?
Phoebe: Water.
