Musi, minor warlock Allen O'Dale is an old time minstrel name for a medieval musician. He played his pipe and caused all children to follow him out of town where they disappeared into a kind of vortex. Only one was left behind because it had a crippled foot. Grown up this child was watching the piper ever since to stop him from taking other children. He put a spell on Piper so the children followed her instead. He needed a witch for the spell to work. When the piper comes to a town, his music draws children to him. The piper needs their music, their inspiration and creative spark to survive. He steals it from them and feeds himself. His talent grows while those he robs die. The piper is known nowadays as Dale Allen. He is immune to the powers of the Charmed Ones but was vanquished by Paige with a potion. Mark, witch |

At first Piper thinks it's just a coincidence that she's seeing
kids everywhere; since she and Leo have been talking about starting a family,
she thinks she's just noticing them more. But then the kids start showing up on
the Charmed Ones' front porch and coming into the house uninvited. No matter
where Piper dispatches them, they're right back at Halliwell Manor minutes
later. Piper starts to wonder if she and Leo can handle starting a family. In the meantime Phoebe finds out about a rash of disappearances in San Francisco. Musicians have vanished all over the city, and they were all candidates to conduct a youth symphony. So how has Paige's new love managed to stick around long enough to be the symphony leader? It would have been a great story but the
book is a complete failure. Really boring and badly written. You'd be better off listening to some music. |
